Job summary

Duininck Companies seeks a General Laborer in Schertz/Converse, Texas. This seasonal, full-time position involves producing hot mix asphalt, road construction for DOT, and concrete work for aviation facilities.

Responsibilities

• Rakes and shovels hot mix, dirt and other materials.
• Performs manual labor tasks related to dirt work, paving, or underground utility work.
• Operates skid steer loader, shoulder machine, broom, or other equipment as directed by foreman.
• Conducts daily inspections and maintenance of equipment.
• Keeps equipment clean and ready for transport and maintains jobsite safety.

This job has the potential to run some heavy equipment with the right experience. This job will be working at Randolph Air Force Base and will need to pass additional security clearance.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Rakes and shovels hot mix, dirt and other materials.
• Performs manual labor tasks associated with dirt work, paving, or underground utility work.
• Operates skid steer loader, shouldering machine, broom, or other equipment when direct by foreman.
• Performs necessary daily inspection and or maintenance of equipment used.
• Keeps equipment clean and in working order and prepares equipment for transport when needed.
• Maintains orderliness, cleanliness and safety at jobsite.
• Follows Supervisor's instructions closely.

Work Environment/Physical Demands
