Job summary

Duininck Texas is seeking a seasonal, full-time loader operator to join an assigned crew on Texas-area road construction projects.

You will operate Dozers, Loaders, and Excavators, perform routine maintenance, and read plans and grade stakes. You’ll work with supervisors to meet schedules, adhere to safety procedures, and handle lifts up to 50 pounds while traveling to job sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment in road construction or a related field.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to follow safety procedures and company policies

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment such as Dozers, Loaders, and Excavators in a safe and efficient manner
• Perform routine maintenance checks and ensure equipment is in good working order
• Read and interpret construction plans, grade stakes, and specifications
• Work collaboratively with supervisors and crew members to complete projects on schedule
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies at all times
• Walk, bend, kneel, lift, stretch and sit
• Work outside in all weather conditions
• Effectively handle lifting of various objects weighing up to 50 pounds
• Regularly work extended/overtime hours
• Ability to travel to job sites; may include frequent overnight stays

This position with Duininck Texas offers the opportunity to operate a loader on an assigned crew performing varies stages of road construction.

This position will be working at Randolph Air Force base with additional security clearance required.
