Job summary

Mancan is seeking a dedicated Welder for our manufacturing team in Vienna, OH. You will read blueprints, set up weld equipment, and perform high-quality welds to meet strict codes and customer expectations.

The role emphasizes safety, cleanliness, and adherence to ISO procedures, with opportunities for internal certification and ongoing improvement projects. Weekend availability may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Internal welding certification (we'll help with that!).
• Experience with GMAW, FCAW, SMAW, GTAW, SAW welding processes.
• Familiar with ASME code products? Even better!
• Proficient in welding, plasma & oxyfuel cutting.
• Great communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and random checks.
• Bring your own basic tools (dont worry well give you the list).

Responsibilities

• Reading and understanding blueprints, BOMs, specs, and weld procedures.
• Performing high-quality welds that meet code and customer expectations.
• Making RT & UT weld repairs with confidence.
• Passing x-ray jobs with an 80% or better success rate.
• Setting up and operating weld machines.
• Examining workpieces for defects and smoothing out rough spots.
• Accurately maintaining records and production documentation.
• Operating a variety of hand and power tools (saws, grinders, drills, welders, cranes, etc.).
• Keeping your work area clean and safe while promoting a zero-accident mindset.
• Follow all safety procedures like a pro.
• Support and follow quality procedures under our ISO-based system.
• Contribute to continuous improvement projects.

Welder Join a Skilled & Supportive Team in Vienna, OH! Are you passionate about precision, craftsmanship, and working with your hands? We're looking for a dedicated Welder to be part of our dynamic manufacturing team. If you take pride in your welds and enjoy a clean, safe, and supportive environment, this role is for you!

Shift time is 6am-2:30pm Monday through Friday!

Pay rate is BOE, but ranges $20-23!

What You'll Be Doing

Physical Requirements

• Comfortable standing, bending, reaching, lifting (up to 60 lbs), pushing/pulling (up to 100 lbs)
• Ability to work in changing environments (heat, cold, humidity)
• Good vision and coordination
• Flexibility to work evenings or weekends when needed
