As General Laborer, under immediate supervision, responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, clean, inspect, repair, and stack raw materials, sub-assemblies, and/or finished goods in accordance with established procedures and guidelines to ensure quality, safety, and productivity standards are met to satisfy customer requirements.Reporting directly to the Production Supervisor, this position is based in Parsons, Tennessee*.Major Accountability:Clean components with solvent and hand toolsRepair minor voidsComplete and maintain all associated electronic processes paperworkKey Tasks & Responsibilities:Clean components with solvent and with hand toolsRepair minor voidsInspect product to conform to quality, engineering standards, and customer requirementsOperate hand tools (including but not limited to electrical and pneumatic powered tools)Load, unload, lift, and move materials and product utilizing lifting equipment when availableComplete and maintain all associated electronic processes paperwork (including but not limited to checklists, stamping, blueprints, bar coding and including shipping/receiving material)Maintain departmental housekeeping and 5S standardsPerform duties in accordance with current Quality Management System, Safety Management System, and Manitowoc Code of Conduct requirementsActively participate in safety training and demonstrate competency by effectively resolving safety issues or bringing them to the attention of managementBasic math and reading comprehension skillsAbility to read tape measureBasic ability to read, speak, and understand English languageAbility to demonstrate safe and effective operation of all required material handling equipmentStand and walk on concrete up to 100% of workdayAbility to bend, stoop, kneel, crouchLift and carry up to 50 lbs alone and over 50 lbs with assistanceAbility to climb and balanceAbility to use hands to reach and to handle or feelManual dexterity in hands for tool usageWork in non-temperature-controlled environmentAbility to visually inspect productsAbility to wear all required personal protective equipmentOur Benefits:We believe that our people our one of our most valuable assets.
