The Foam Machine Operator II is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining foam press equipment that meets quality, safety, and production standards. This role requires strong attention to detail, adherence to work instructions, and the ability to work safely in a fast paced manufacturing environment.Reporting directly to the Production Supervisor, this position is based in Parsons, Tennessee*.Major Accountability:SafetyQualityProductionKey Tasks & Responsibilities:Set up and operate foam press equipment according to work instructions, specifications, and production schedulesPerform in-process inspections and tooling changes using a tape measureLoad raw foam materials into press molds and remove finished parts after press cyclesMonitor press operation, temperatures, pressures, and cycle times to ensure consistent product qualityInspect completed parts for defects, damage, or nonconformanceAccurately complete production logs, scrap, and safety checklistsCommunicate equipment issues, quality concerns, or material shortages to supervisorsFollow all safety procedures, lockout/tagout (LOTO) requirements, and quality standardsKeep work areas clean and organized in accordance with 5S standardsSupport continuous improvement and teamwork initiativesPerform minor adjustments and routine maintenance on press equipmentIdentify defects, scrap causes, and process improvement opportunitiesAdjust machine settings, tooling, and programs to meet dimensional and quality requirementsDuties, responsibilities and activities may change at any time with or without notice and the employee may be assigned additional tasks as needed to support the business operations3-5 years’ experience required in Construction and/or Manufacturing and/or have demonstrated the ability to operate 1 foam machine efficiently and consistentlyAbility to read and interpret blueprints and tape measuresPerform basic math and reading comprehensionAbility to read, speak, and understand EnglishAbility to stand/walk on concrete for a full shift and work in temperatures above 95°FAbility to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, balance, and lift 50 lbs. alone; lift more than 50 lbs. with assistanceAbility to handle tools safely and inspect finished productsMust be able to wear PPEOur Benefits:We believe that our people our one of our most valuable assets.
