Job summary

American Iron & Metal (AIM) is seeking a General Laborer to support our Erie operations. You will be responsible for sorting non-ferrous metals such as aluminum, copper, and brass, and for operating a 30lb cut-off saw and baler in a safety-conscious environment.

The role requires physical fitness, ability to lift up to 100 lbs, and the flexibility to work indoors or outdoors in all weather. Prior metal recycling experience is a plus, and a positive attendance record is valued.

Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a General Laborer to support our Erie operations. The incumbent will be responsible for the general sorting of metals of the premises.

What you're responsible for:

• Receiving, sort and organizing different types of non-ferrous metals of different alloys i.e. aluminum, copper and brass
• Operating a 30lb cut off saw and baler
• Cleaning and shearing of radiators other general labor duties
• Working with a safety-oriented mindset

Qualifications

• Ability to work indoors/outdoors in all weather conditions
• Good physical fitness
• Ability to consistently lift or move up to100lbs
