Job summary

American Iron & Metal (AIM) is seeking a General Laborer to support our Erie operations. You will be responsible for sorting non-ferrous metals such as aluminum, copper, and brass, and for operating a 30lb cut-off saw and baler in a safety-conscious environment.

The role requires physical fitness, ability to lift up to 100 lbs, and the flexibility to work indoors or outdoors in all weather. Prior metal recycling experience is a plus, and a positive attendance record is valued.

Qualifications

• Experience operating metal recycling equipment is an asset.
• Ability to work indoors/outdoors in all weather.
• Good physical fitness and ability to lift up to 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Receiving, sorting and organizing non-ferrous metals.
• Operating a 30lb cut off saw and baler.
• Cleaning and shearing radiators; other general labor duties.
• Working with a safety-oriented mindset.
