Aerotek seeks a General/Construction Laborer in Downey, CA for physically demanding construction and public works tasks. You will support excavation, trenching, concrete and carpentry work, and utility installations while assisting operators on site.

Candidates should have experience in general labor on construction projects, the ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly, and a valid driver's license. This is an onsite contract role with varied daily tasks.

Qualificações

• Support wet and dry utility installation, including basic site preparation and backfilling.
• Assist with general labor and equipment operation under direction of experienced operators.
• Help with concrete-related tasks such as mixing, pouring, and basic finishing work.
• Support carpentry activities by handling materials, basic cutting, and site cleanup.
• Operate or assist in operating heavy equipment such as excavators and skid steers when appropriate and authorized.
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while working in outdoor, dirty, and hot environments.
• Maintain a clean and organized work site, including proper storage of tools and materials.
• Use a valid drivers license to travel to job sites or move vehicles and light equipment as needed.

Job Title: General/ Construction Laborer ($22/hour -$25/hour) URGENTLY HIRING

Job Description

This role involves performing physically demanding general labor tasks on construction and public works projects. You support excavation and trenching activities, assist with concrete and carpentry work, and help with utility installations. • Possession of a commercial drivers license (CDL) is a plus.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
