Job summary

Responsibilities include operating power tools, enforcing hygiene and safety standards, handling materials, and performing safety-sensitive tasks in various weather with PPE throughout shifts. HS diploma required; 1 year field experience preferred.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year field-based work experience preferred (construction/demolition).
• Candidates must be able to complete tasks and meet deadlines with strong verbal and written skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate power tools including oxy-fuel torch, breaker, drill and demolition saw.
• Understand hygiene principles preventing lead, asbestos and silicosis exposure.
• Move and segregate materials by carrying, shoveling, pushing or throwing.
• Perform safety-sensitive tasks while on site.
• Handle hazardous materials in accordance with policy and regulation.
• Work productively in varying weather conditions.
• Work in full personal protective equipment throughout shift.
• Walk on uneven surfaces; may climb stairs and ladders as needed.
• Follow Brandenburg's environmental and safety policies.
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.

Duties/Responsibilities/Physical Requirements

• Ability to use power tools including oxy-fuel torch, breaker, drill & demolition saw
• Ability to understand hygiene principles including lead intoxication, asbestosis & silicosis prevention
• Ability to segregate various types of material
• Ability to move materials by carrying, shoveling, pushing or throwing
• Perform safety sensitive tasks
• Ability to work with hazardous materials
• Ability to work productively in various weather conditions
• Ability to perform strenuous work in full body personal protective equipment throughout work shift
• Agility to walk and work on uneven surfaces, occasionally climbing stairs and ladders
• Perform all work in accordance with Brandenburg's environmental and safety policies
• Regular and Predictable Performance

Education / Experience

Candidates must have a HS diploma or equivalent; 1 Year experience of field based work. Experience in Construction / Demolition industry preferred. Candidates must also have the ability to complete assigned tasks, work independently to attain deadlines and possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
