Job summary

BRANDENBURG INDUSTRIAL SVC CO is seeking a General Laborer to join our field operations across multiple states. The role requires handling power tools, supporting demolition work, and adhering to strict safety guidelines while performing physical tasks in various weather conditions.

The candidate should have a HS diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of field-based experience, with strong communication skills and the ability to work independently under supervision.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent; 1 year field-based experience preferred; strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Construction/Demolition experience is advantageous; ability to follow safety policies.
• Comfort with heavy equipment and use of power tools per site requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate power tools including oxy-fuel torch, breaker, drill, and demolition saw.
• Comply with hygiene, lead, asbestos, and silica prevention guidelines.
• Sort and segregate various material types for handling and disposal.
• Move materials by carrying, shoveling, pushing or throwing as needed.
• Perform safety-sensitive tasks and work with hazardous materials.
• Work productively in varied weather conditions and PPE.
• Walk on uneven surfaces, climb stairs and ladders when required.
• Adhere to Brandenburg's environmental and safety policies; maintain consistent performance.

Duties/Responsibilities/Physical Requirements

• Ability to use power tools including oxy-fuel torch, breaker, drill & demolition saw
• Ability to understand hygiene principles including lead intoxication, asbestosis & silicosis prevention
• Ability to segregate various types of material
• Ability to move materials by carrying, shoveling, pushing or throwing
• Perform safety sensitive tasks
• Ability to work with hazardous materials
• Ability to work productively in various weather conditions
• Ability to perform strenuous work in full body personal protective equipment throughout work shift
• Agility to walk and work on uneven surfaces, occasionally climbing stairs and ladders
• Perform all work in accordance with Brandenburg's environmental and safety policies
• Regular and Predictable Performance

Education / Experience

Candidates must have a HS diploma or equivalent; 1 Year experience of field based work. Experience in Construction / Demolition industry preferred. Candidates must also have the ability to complete assigned tasks, work independently to attain deadlines and possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
