Job summary

BRANDENBURG INDUSTRIAL SVC CO is hiring a General Laborer for work in multiple states. The role is a full-time position with travel up to 98%.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate power tools including oxy-fuel torch, breaker, drill and demolition saw
• Understand hygiene principles including lead intoxication, asbestosis and silicosis prevention
• Move materials by carrying, shoveling, pushing or throwing
• Perform safety sensitive tasks
• Work with hazardous materials
• Work in various weather conditions
• Perform strenuous work in full PPE throughout shift
• Walk on uneven surfaces, climb stairs and ladders as needed
• Follow Brandenburg's environmental and safety policies
• Maintain regular and predictable performance

Duties/Responsibilities/Physical Requirements

• Ability to use power tools including oxy-fuel torch, breaker, drill & demolition saw
• Ability to understand hygiene principles including lead intoxication, asbestosis & silicosis prevention
• Ability to segregate various types of material
• Ability to move materials by carrying, shoveling, pushing or throwing
• Perform safety sensitive tasks
• Ability to work with hazardous materials
• Ability to work productively in various weather conditions
• Ability to perform strenuous work in full body personal protective equipment throughout work shift
• Agility to walk and work on uneven surfaces, occasionally climbing stairs and ladders
• Perform all work in accordance with Brandenburg's environmental and safety policies
• Regular and Predictable Performance

Education / Experience

Candidates must have a HS diploma or equivalent; 1 Year experience of field based work. Experience in Construction / Demolition industry preferred. Candidates must also have the ability to complete assigned tasks, work independently to attain deadlines and possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
