Job summary

BRANDENBURG INDUSTRIAL SVC CO is seeking a General Laborer to support multiple projects across several states. The role requires handling power tools, adhering to hygiene and safety standards, and performing physical tasks under PPE.

Candidates should have a HS diploma or equivalent and at least one year of field-based experience, preferably in construction or demolition. The position involves significant travel and a benefits package under the collective bargaining agreement.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Use power tools including oxy-fuel torch, breaker, drill and demolition saw.
• Understand hygiene principles including lead intoxication, asbestosis and silicosis prevention.
• Segregate various types of material.
• Move materials by carrying, shoveling, pushing or throwing.
• Perform safety sensitive tasks.
• Work with hazardous materials.
• Work productively in various weather conditions.
• Perform strenuous work in full body PPE throughout shift.
• Walk on uneven surfaces and climb stairs and ladders as needed.
• Adhere to Brandenburg's environmental and safety policies.
• Ensure regular and predictable performance.

Duties/Responsibilities/Physical Requirements

Education / Experience

Candidates must have a HS diploma or equivalent; 1 Year experience of field based work. Experience in Construction / Demolition industry preferred. Candidates must also have the ability to complete assigned tasks, work independently to attain deadlines and possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
