Job summary

American Iron & Metal (AIM) in Cleveland is hiring a General Laborer to support our metal recycling operations. The role focuses on sorting non-ferrous metals such as aluminum, copper, and brass, and operating a 30 lb cut off saw and baler.

A safety-minded approach and ability to work in varied weather are essential. Ideal candidates have strong physical fitness, team orientation, and familiarity with OSHA regulations.

Qualifications

• Aptitude for understanding and using machines and tools.
• Superb Customer Service.
• Experience in metal recycling considered an asset.
• Ability to work indoors/outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Good physical fitness.
• Ability to consistently lift or move up to 100 lbs.
• Must be able to stand, reach, walk, stoop and crawl.
• Ability to work as a team.
• Familar with OSHA regulations.
• Excellent attendance and safety record.
