Job summary

American Iron & Metal (AIM) in Cleveland is seeking a General Laborer to support our operations. You will assist with the general sorting of metals on site, handling non-ferrous alloys such as aluminum, copper, and brass, and operate a 30lb cut off saw and baler.

The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment; you must be able to lift up to 100 lbs, work indoors or outdoors in various weather, and maintain excellent attendance and safety records.

Qualifications

• Aptitude for understanding and using machines and tools.
• Excellent customer service mindset.
• Experience in metal recycling is a plus.
• Ability to work indoors/outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Good physical fitness and the ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
• Able to stand, reach, walk, stoop and crawl; team player.
• Familiar with OSHA regulations; strong attendance and safety record.

Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a General Laborer to support our Cleveland operations. The incumbent will be responsible for the general sorting of metals of the premises.

• Receiving, sort and organizing different types of non-ferrous metals of different alloys i.e. aluminum, copper and brass
• Operating a 30lb cut off saw and baler
• Cleaning and shearing of radiators other general labor duties
• Working with a safety-oriented mindset

Qualifications
