Job summary

Monroechamber is seeking a reliable Material Handler for the 1st shift in Milwaukee, WI, to support daily warehouse and fulfillment operations. You will stock picking locations, move products, prepare orders for shipment, and follow food safety and warehouse procedures.

Responsibilities include replenishing locations, FEFO product storage, picking and packing, staging, LTL support, and safe operation of forklifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months forklift experience.
• Current forklift certification.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to meet deadlines with changing schedules.
• Able to stand, stoop, bend, and lift as required.

Position Title: Material Handler; Wage: $18.00/hour; Shift: 1st; Hours: 6:00am - 2:30pm; Location: Milwaukee, WI. We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Material Handler to support daily warehouse and fulfillment operations in Milwaukee, WI. This position will be responsible for stocking picking locations, moving products, preparing orders for shipment, and following food safety and warehouse procedures.

Material Handler Responsibilities:

• Replenish picking locations and stock fulfillment products throughout the day based on order needs
• Put products away using FEFO (First Expire, First Out) procedures
• Pick, stage, consolidate, and shrink-wrap products for shipment
• Assist with LTL shipping and order preparation
• Maintain a clean and organized fulfillment warehouse
• Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely
• Follow all food safety, GMP, organic, conventional, and allergen procedures
• Complete daily checklists and follow company procedures

Requirements for Material Handler:

• At least 6 months of forklift operating experience
• Current/maintained forklift certification
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
• Ability to work with changing schedules and meet deadlines
• Ability to regularly stand, stoop, kneel, bend, twist, and move quickly throughout the day
• Ability to safely perform repetitive tasks and lift/move materials as required
