Job summary

QPS Employment Group is seeking a Material Handler for a Janesville, WI facility on the 2nd shift (12:00pm–8:30pm, Tuesday–Saturday). This is a potential to hire role.

You will move materials with a hand truck or by hand, load finished products onto pallets, keep the area clean, and assist with general duties to maintain a safe workspace. Lifting up to 50 lbs and standing long hours are required.

Qualifications

• Able to stand/walk for up to 10 - 12 hours.
• Able to lift and/or pull 50 lbs.
• Able to regularly bend, lift, stretch and reach both below the waist and above the head.
• Able to work irregular or extended hours including nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manually or using hand truck performs various material handling duties in the facility.
• Manually loads finished product on pallet or hand truck.
• Stacks skids or pallets in designated areas.
• Provides cleaning services, as necessary, including sweeping floors, cleaning offices and removal of trash in proper containers or designated areas.
• Performs other related tasks to keep the work area safe, clean and organized.
