Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain a production line or station.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions and adjust equipment as needed.
• Maintain equipment in full operational status with adjustments.
• Observe operations to ensure quality and adjust speed as required.
• Follow GMP and all safety, sanitation, and regulatory requirements.
• Document production records and report issues promptly.

GENERAL PURPOSE

Operate and maintain line equipment for the product runs that meet established production standards needed for maximum efficiency and quality standards.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare, operate, maintain, and stock assigned production line or station
• Maintain equipment in full operational status by making adjustments to equipment
• Ensure operation of equipment by troubleshooting malfunctions and notifying the proper individuals when needed for preventative maintenance or issues needing attention
• Maintain quality by observing operations and adjusting with speed controls and troubleshooting
• Maintain and clean equipment according to guidelines and expectations
• Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately
• Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues
• Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Able to legibly write entries for record keeping
