Job summary

Dairy Challenge is seeking a production line operator to operate and maintain line equipment to meet production standards. You will prepare, stock, and monitor a production line ensuring quality and safety throughout shifts.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting equipment, recording data, and adhering to GMPs, health, and safety guidelines. The role requires teamwork and the ability to work in a fast-paced dairy environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Production or general work experience preferred.
• Certification and/or License may be required during course of employment.

• Operate, maintain, stock, and prepare the production line or station.
• Keep equipment in full operating status with adjustments as needed.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions and notify responsible personnel for maintenance.
• Observe operations, adjust with speed controls to maintain quality.
• Clean and maintain equipment per guidelines.
• Report food safety or quality issues to management immediately.
• Maintain safe working conditions and comply with regulations.
• Follow GMPs and corporate food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements.
• Other duties as assigned by supervision.

Job description

Operate and maintain line equipment for the product runs that meet established production standards needed for maximum efficiency and quality standards.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare, operate, maintain, and stock assigned production line or station
• Maintain equipment in full operational status by making adjustments to equipment
• Ensure operation of equipment by troubleshooting malfunctions and notifying the proper individuals when needed for preventative maintenance or issues needing attention
• Maintain quality by observing operations and adjusting with speed controls and troubleshooting
• Maintain and clean equipment according to guidelines and expectations
• Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately
• Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues
• Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements

Requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
