Job summary

Empire Livestock LLC. is seeking a dependable team member to operate and maintain line equipment in a fast-paced production environment in Kentucky. The role emphasizes meeting production standards and ensuring quality across the line.

Responsibilities include stocking and calibrating equipment, detecting malfunctions, and following GMP and safety policies. A high school diploma and basic math/English skills are required, with opportunities for growth and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Production or general work experience preferred.
• Certification and/or license may be required during employment.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Basic math skills for measurement and record keeping.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, operate, maintain, and stock assigned production line or station.
• Maintain equipment in full operational status by making adjustments to equipment.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions and notify the proper individuals when needed for preventative maintenance or issues needing attention.
• Maintain quality by observing operations and adjusting with speed controls and troubleshooting.
• Maintain and clean equipment according to guidelines and expectations.
• Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately.
• Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues.
• Follow all DFA GMPs and work in a manner consistent with corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements.
• Other duties may be assigned as required

Operate and maintain line equipment for the product runs that meet established production standards needed for maximum efficiency and quality standards.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare, operate, maintain, and stock assigned production line or station
• Maintain equipment in full operational status by making adjustments to equipment
• Ensure operation of equipment by troubleshooting malfunctions and notifying the proper individuals when needed for preventative maintenance or issues needing attention
• Maintain quality by observing operations and adjusting with speed controls and troubleshooting
• Maintain and clean equipment according to guidelines and expectations
• Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately
• Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues
• Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements

Requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
