  • Must be willing to work in damp, cold or hot environments.
  • Must be able to stand 8-10 hours a day.
  • Must wear PPE, ear protection (plugs or muffs), hair net and beard guard.
  • Must be able to maneuver around freely as needed.
  • Must have good hand/eye coordination.
  • Must be willing to climb up and down steps/stairs to get to and from the work areas when needed.
  • These positions are very fast paced with long periods of standing, walking, bending, stretching, pushing, pulling, climbing and reaching.
  • May involve cutting meat away from the bone using knives or scissors.

Responsibilities

  • Follow safety rules and perform general labor on the line.
  • Be available for 2nd shift with varying times per line.
  • Work in cold, hot, damp and wet environments; rotate across department.
  • Overtime and weekend work may be required.

Job Details:Location: Berry Street Facility - Springdale, ARPosition: General Production Labor - 2ND SHIFTHours - times vary per line you workPay - $16.70 hour.This position is responsible for but not limited to:Must be able to understand and agree to follow Safety RulesMust be willing to push, pull, carry, and/or lift 40+ pounds for some positions.Must be willing to work in damp, cold or hot environments, reach above shoulder level.Must be able to perform the duties of the position.Be willing to stand 8- 10 hours a day.Must wear PPE, ear protection (plugs or muffs), hair net and beard guard.Must be able to maneuver around freely as needed.Must have good hand/eye coordination.Must be willing to climb up and down steps/stairs to get to and from the work areas when needed.These positions are very fast paced. Long periods of standing, walking, bending, stretching, pushing, pulling, climbing and reaching are required.These positions work in a cold, hot, wet and slippery environment. Positions rotate throughout the department.Applicants will be considered for any general labor type opening on any shift, such as day, evening.Applicants must be available to work overtime, and weekends as needed.
