Job summary

Ferrara is seeking team members for a 1st shift (6:30am–2:30pm) position with overtime and weekend requirements based on business needs. You will handle materials, candy, and producing, including setting up, change-overs, and assisting packaging.

Responsibilities include sanitation, quality, productivity, and safety in your area, with versatility to work at different stations as production demands require. Overtime and variable hours may apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Food manufacturing experience is a plus.

• Assists anytime the line is in a scrap mode
• Assists in other facets of production as needed
• Work at different work stations as production needs require
• Conducts assigned work in a safe manner and adheres to safety methods
• Responsible for finished goods
• Responsible for verifying and executing pallet patterns where applicable

Skills that will make you successful

• While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, and the noise level in the environment is loud
• Manufacturing experience is preferred
• Food manufacturing experience is a plus

• Ability to work with minimal supervision, and keep up with the line speeds in a fast paced environment
• Ability to read and write English
• High school Diploma or GED
• Ensures compliance with SQF, and other relevant standards
• Adheres to all company policies and procedures
• Dependable and flexible when work is required in other facets of production
• Promotes teamwork, possesses a good attitude, and exhibits flexibility and willingness to perform tasks as needed
• Ability to work scheduled shift and overtime as needed
