Job summary

Closets by Design Nashville is seeking a General Laborer to join our team. You will operate woodworking machinery, assist in production, and support installation readiness with a focus on quality and safety.

The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule, with no weekends or required overtime. Training and development are provided alongside comprehensive benefits and hands-on experience in custom cabinetry projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in woodworking or cabinet-making fields preferred.
• Experience with woodworking equipment and hand tools is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated General Laborer to join our growing team. The individual will be a shop assistant with the following responsibilities:

• Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools.


• Understand company product lines, machinery, assembly standards, and installation techniques.


• Follow quality and safety standards.


• Maintain shop equipment according to an established schedule.


• Understand cut lists for daily jobs.


• Additional tasks or projects as defined by the Production Manager.

Job Requirements

• Experience in the woodworking or cabinet-making fields preferred (32mm systems)


• Experience with woodworking equipment and hand tools is a plus


• Excellent problem-solving skills, able to multitask in a fast-paced environment


• Some prior Woodworking experience is preferred but not required.
