Job summary

Closets by Design is seeking a General Laborer to join our Manufacturing team. The role involves operating woodworking machinery and hand tools, understanding product lines and installation techniques, and maintaining shop equipment.

You will follow quality and safety standards and handle daily job drawings and cut lists under the Production Manager's guidance. The company offers benefits including 401(k), health and dental insurance, paid time off, and employee discounts, with a Monday–Friday

Qualifications

• Experience in the woodworking or cabinet-making fields preferred (32mm systems), but not required.
• Experience with woodworking equipment and hand tools is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated General Laborer to join our Manufacturing team. The individual will be a shop assistant with the following responsibilities:

• Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools.


• Understand company product lines, machinery, assembly standards, and installation techniques.


• Follow quality and safety standards.


• Maintain shop equipment according to an established schedule.


• Understand cut lists and project drawings for daily jobs.


• Additional tasks or projects as defined by the Production Manager.
