Job summary

Closets By Design Rochester is seeking a hands-on plant operations leader to drive high-quality cabinetry production on time and cost-effectively. You will oversee daily manufacturing activities, supervise staff, and coordinate production and installation schedules to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities include ensuring product knowledge across lines, enforcing QA standards, coordinating with sales on designs, maintaining equipment and vehicles, and managing inventories while producing precise

Qualifications

• Prior supervisory experience with hiring responsibilities.
• Experience in woodworking or cabinet-making fields (32mm systems a plus).
• Excellent problem-solving skills, able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

• Schedule production and installation schedules to meet deadlines.
• Understand company product lines, equipment, assembly standards, and installation techniques.
• Enforce quality assurance standards.
• Interact with sales staff to review designs as defined by the owner.

• Produce daily cut lists.
• Forecast production requirements and maintain necessary inventory levels.
