Job summary

Green Bay Packaging Inc. Fort Worth division is seeking General Laborers for on-site production operations across corrugator, printing, finishing, or shipping areas. You'll assist with machine operation, material handling, quality inspections, and housekeeping while supporting setup, changeovers, and reporting of time and materials.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
  • Stable work history with ability to work in a team.

  • Ability to learn to safely operate forklifts, clamp trucks, equipment, and hand tools.

Responsibilities

  • Operate or assist in operation of manufacturing and production equipment.
  • Assist with machine setup, startup, changeovers, operation, and cleaning.
  • Prepare materials and retrieve paper and supplies for production runs.
  • Accurately report time, production, and material usage.
  • Enter production information, measurements, and job data into computer systems.
  • Perform visual inspections and quality checks to meet product specs.
  • Use measuring devices to verify dimensions and maintain quality standards.
  • Report equipment malfunctions, safety concerns, and quality issues.
  • Assist with troubleshooting production equipment.
  • Operate forklifts and clamp trucks following proper training and certification.
  • Hand stack, flip, sort, and organize corrugated boxes and materials.
  • Fill in for crew members during vacations and absences, and follow safety procedures.

Description

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand and work on concrete floors for 8 to 10 hours per shift
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks involving hand stacking, flipping, sorting, and stacking corrugated boxes
  • Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures, including hot conditions
  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
Schedule & Compensation
  • Must be available to work 1st Shift or 2nd Shift
  • Competitive hourly wage
  • Shift differential available for 2nd Shift
  • Pay increase upon successful completion of the 90-day probationary period
