Job summary

Green Bay Packaging, based in Wisconsin, seeks an Equipment Operator Helper to support corrugated production lines. You will set up equipment safely, inspect tooling, assist the machine operator, and maximize line capacity.

The role involves routine cleaning, maintenance requests, and active participation in quality control to meet cost, quality, and service goals. A high school diploma or GED is required, with prior corrugated industry experience preferred.

• One year minimum relevant experience preferred.
• Prior experience in the corrugated industry preferred.

• Complete daily and weekly equipment clean-ups.
• Provide recommendations to optimize the schedule for cost, quality, and service goals.
• Perform continuous quality control by random material checks (size, scoring, slotting, printing, folding).
• Abide by company policies and practice safe work habits.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
• Adhere to GBP quality policy to ensure customer satisfaction.

• Maximize the utilization of equipment by operating the machinery at available capacity and speed.


• Submit maintenance work orders to supervision for needed repairs.


• Complete daily and weekly equipment clean-ups.


• Provide recommendations when necessary for optimizing the schedule to meet cost, quality and service goals.


• Perform continuous quality control: select material at random to check size, scoring, slotting, material, printing and folding.


• Abide by all company policies and procedures, including practicing safe work habits.


• Communicate effectively and professionally in all forms of communication with internal and external customers.


• Adhere to GBP quality policy to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
