Job summary

Green Bay Packaging is seeking hard-working individuals to operate and assist in manufacturing processes across corrugator, die cut, finishing, printing and shipping. The role includes forklift/clamp truck work, material handling, and keeping a clean, safe plant area.

You may fill in for crew on vacations or call-ins while maintaining product quality and safety standards. The position emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and adherence to Lockout/Tagout procedures, with opportunities for growth

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Stable work history and good communication skills.
• Basic computer skills and ability to work with others.
• Able to use measuring tape, utility knife, broom.
• With training, operate forklift, clamp truck and shop tools.
• Safety-first mindset; familiar with Lockout/Tagout protocols.
• Stand for long periods; ability to lift 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate or assist in operating manufacturing machinery.
• Handle materials and drive forklift or clamp truck as needed.
• Perform housekeeping and keep work area clean and safe.
• Take part in preventative maintenance inspections and quality checks.
• Fill in for crew during vacations or absences.
• Support supervisor with additional duties as directed.

Job description

Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include operating or assisting in the operation of manufacturing machinery, material handling equipment and general plant operations. Work in corrugator, die cut, finishing, printing, or shipping departments. Additional duties include driving forklift or clamp truck, hauling trash to the compactor, hauling scrap to the baler, sweeping the floor, fill in for crew replacement (vacations, call ins). Must maintain clean, safe work area. Perform preventative maintenance inspections and tasks, perform visual inspection of product quality. Will perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

Qualified candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, a stable work history, good communication skills, basic computer skills, and the ability to work well with others. Able to use a measuring tape, utility knife, and broom. With training, able to operate a forklift, clamp truck, various machines, various hand tools, air hose, compactor, and steam hose. Focus on safety and familiarity with safe work practices, including but not limited to Lockout / Tagout is required. Stand continuously, climb ladders, squat, ben, kneel, crawl. Life and carry 75 lbs. without assistance.

Earn $25.24 hourly plus shift differential.
