Job summary

UFP Industries, Inc. is seeking a General Labor role to safely handle lumber products. You will move, stack, label, and secure materials according to customer requirements and company standards.

Responsibilities include inventory tagging, production record-keeping, and participation in safety programs. Must be 18+, with a preference for basic math ability and any lumber experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• No minimum experience required; manufacturing or lumber experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of basic math preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Move and secure lumber products and other materials according to instructions.
• Stack finished products according to predetermined bundle sizes and/or customer requirements.
• Label material based on type, size, and count; apply tags before/after treating/production.
• Band, bundle, and secure material with corner protectors and loading sticks.
• Follow stacking and labeling instructions per policy and customer requirements.
• Maintain accurate inventory of tags and report discrepancies to supervisor.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Assist other areas by moving material and loading/unloading carts.
• Participate in safety, CI and other programs and meetings.
• Record production on production sheets.
