Job summary

Davey Tree Surgery Co. seeks a dynamic general foreperson to lead outdoor crews in Fort Smith, AR. Your office is outdoors, and you will manage crew leaders, field personnel and equipment while planning and executing assigned work.

Responsibilities include organizing crews, following company policies, maintaining records, hiring and training staff in the territory, and promptly reporting incidents. This is an on-site role with up to 100% travel expectations.

Qualifications

• Love of the outdoors.
• Ability to complete Electrical Hazard Awareness Program and OSHA training.
• Ability to complete the Davey Tree First Aid, CPR and defensive driving course upon hire.
• Required: valid driver's license.
• Preferred: CDL-Class A or B with Airbrake Endorsement.
• Preferred: line clearance experience or other related tree work.
• Preferred: pesticide licenses/certificates as required by state law.
• Preferred: ISA/Certified Arborist, ISA/Certified Tree Worker, and/or TCIA certifications.
