Davey Tree Surgery Co. is seeking a dynamic general foreperson to lead outdoor maintenance crews across multiple Oklahoma locations.

Your office is outdoors and you’ll supervise crew leaders, organize equipment, and ensure safety and compliance with company policies in a fast-paced setting. Responsibilities include hiring and training local staff, maintaining accurate work records, and investigating incidents with management.

Formación

• Love of the outdoors required.
• Must complete Electrical Hazard Awareness Program and OSHA training.
• Must complete Davey Tree First Aid, CPR and defensive driving upon hire.
• Valid driver’s license is required; CDL preferred.
• CDL-Class A or B with Airbrake Endorsement preferred.
• Line clearance experience or related tree work preferred.
• Relevant pesticide licenses/certifications as required by state law preferred.

Job Duties

What You'll Do:

• Manage, direct and supervise crew leaders, field personnel and equipment as well as plan and execute assigned work by:
• Organizing and assigning crews and equipment to efficiently perform the required work
• Understand and follow all company policies, procedures, and work rules
• Maintain accurate records of required work
• Oversee the hiring and training of all Davey employees in territory
• Investigate accidents and promptly report to appropriate management
• Every day there's something new to do!

Qualifications

What We're Seeking:

• Love of the outdoors
• Ability to complete Electrical Hazard Awareness Program and OSHA training
• Ability to complete the Davey Tree First Aid, CPR and defensive driving course upon hire
• Required: valid driver's license
• Preferred: Commercial Driver's License-Class A or B with Airbrake Endorsement
• Preferred: line clearance experience or other related tree work
• Preferred: relevant pesticide and related licenses and certificates, if required by state law
