Job summary

Exelon in the U.S. seeks a General Engineer to lead and support engineering across electric and gas infrastructure, including distribution, transmission and substations. You will develop solutions, manage deliverables and ensure regulatory compliance.

You will evaluate performance, drive safety and reliability improvements, manage budgets, coordinate with departments and stakeholders, and oversee field inspections; extended hours can occur during storms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or PE license required.
• Ability to analyze complex electrical and mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of engineering design principles and practices.
• Experience with field test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering assignments with independent judgment under supervision.
• Lead small engineering projects coordinating cross-functional teams.
• Provide technical support for design, installation and maintenance.
• Contribute to evaluation and improvement of technical systems and processes.
