Job summary

Palms Casino Resort is seeking a General Engineer to maintain and repair electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and related systems across its facilities in Las Vegas. The role involves preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and responding to emergencies, with documentation of all activities.

Candidates should have trade schooling or equivalent experience, EPA certification, and the ability to read schematics and blueprints.

Qualifications

Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and related systems.
Must be able to read, comprehend, and apply technical material, schematics, and blueprints.
EPA certification is required.
Must be able to safely operate hand and power tools.
Three years of experience in commercial/industrial settings preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and other related systems.
Troubleshoot problems and take corrective action.
Respond to emergency situations such as fire, power outages, gas or water leaks.
Maintain records on equipment maintenance and repair.
Notify management concerning major repairs or additions to equipment.
Other duties as assigned by management.
