Job summary

42 North Dental in Torrington, CT is seeking a General Dentist to manage the full patient experience from exam to treatment. In-office services include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery and orthodontics, with compensation up to 36% of collections. We offer 2–5 days per week, 8AM–5PM, with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree required.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• BLS or CPR certification required.
• Hepatitis B vaccination required.
• Malpractice insurance coverage required.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and maintain patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain high standards of care and ethics.
• Stay updated with new developments through continuing education.
