Job summary

42 North Dental in Torrington, CT is seeking a General Dentist to join our team. The position can be part-time or full-time, with hours 8AM-5PM, 2-5 days per week, and compensation up to 36% of collections.

The Annual Rate shown reflects a broad earnings potential for private practice. The Dentist will oversee the entire clinical patient experience from initial exam to delivery of care, with in-office services including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

Qualifications

• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Documented Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and review treatment plans with patients.
• Maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures in the oral cavity.
• Maintain high standards of care and ethics.
• Stay updated with new developments through CE.
