Job summary

42 North Dental seeks a Dentist to join our team in Torrington, CT. The role covers the full clinical patient experience from examination to delivery of care, with in-office services in periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery and orthodontics.

The position offers part-time or full-time hours (8AM-5PM, 2-5 days weekly) and compensation up to 36% of collections. We provide comprehensive benefits and ongoing CE opportunities through Harvard rounds.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review, interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain high standards of care and ethics.
• Stay updated on new developments and continuing education.

Education

DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program
