42 North Dental in Torrington, CT is seeking a general dentist to oversee the full patient experience from exam to treatment. In-office services include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

We offer flexible scheduling (2-5 days, 8am-5pm), up to 36% compensation, comprehensive benefits including health insurance, dental, vision, 401K, CE opportunities, and unlimited earning potential.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry in the relevant state.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsabilités

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and various treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient's oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
• Maintain the highest standard of care and ethics.
• Stay current with new developments and continuing education.

Formation

DMD or DDS degree

Current state license to practice dentistry

Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination

Proof of malpractice insurance

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
