Job summary

42 North Dental seeks a General Dentist in Torrington, CT, to oversee the full clinical patient experience from examination to treatment delivery. In-office specialties include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

Work schedule is 2–5 days/week, 8AM–5PM, with compensation up to 36% of collections. Benefits include health insurance with optional HSA, dental/vision coverage, LifeMart discounts, 401K, CE opportunities, and more.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state dental license.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and review treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
