42 North Dental is seeking a general dentist for Torrington, CT, offering 2-5 days per week, 8AM-5PM, with compensation up to 36% of collections. The role covers comprehensive clinical care from exams to complex procedures across multiple specialties in-office.

The practice emphasizes long-term patient relationships, strong team support, and opportunities for ongoing CE via Harvard Rounds Network and internal education.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Proof of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and discuss treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
• Maintain the highest standard of care, ethics and professionalism.
• Keep abreast of new developments and continuing education.

Education
