Job summary

42North Dental is seeking a General Dentist for Torrington, CT, offering 2–5 days per week, 8 AM–5 PM, with compensation up to 36%. The role covers full patient care from exam to delivery, including in-office periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures in the oral cavity.
• Maintain high standards of care and ethics.
• Keep up with new developments and continuing education.
