Job summary

42North Dental is seeking a general dentist to join our team in Torrington, CT. The role involves the full patient care spectrum, from initial exams to delivering comprehensive treatment, including in-office specialties.

You’ll contribute to care planning, patient education, and maintaining precise records. We offer flexible scheduling (2-5 days per week, 8AM-5PM) with compensation up to 36% of collections.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination as a condition of employment.
• Proof of malpractice insurance is required.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases and plan treatment.
• Educate patients on oral health and options.
• Create and review treatment plans for patients.
• Maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review X-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Perform restorative and preventive dental care.
• Carry out surgical procedures in the oral cavity.
• Uphold high standards of ethics and professionalism.
• Keep up with new developments through CE and training.
