Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a General Dentist to deliver comprehensive dental care in Torrington, CT. You will manage the patient experience from exam through treatment, working with in-office specialties including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

The role can be part-time or full-time, with 2-5 days per week and typical hours 8AM-5PM. Compensation is up to 36% of collections; experience and credentials determine annual earnings, with a strong benefits package available.

Qualifications

• Must hold a DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry is required.
• Evidence of Hepatitis B vaccination is required.
• Proof of malpractice insurance is required.
• Current BLS or CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and prevent disease.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment options with patients.
• Maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Interpret X-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures in the oral cavity.
• Uphold high standards of ethics and professionalism.
• Keep up to date with new developments and best practices.

Education

DMD or DDS degree (ADA CODA accredited)

Current state license to practice dentistry
