Job summary

42North Dental is seeking a General Dentist in Torrington, CT to manage the full dental patient experience from exam to delivery of care. In-office specialties include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

We offer part-time or full-time schedules (2–5 days/week, 8:00–17:00) with compensation up to 36%. Benefits include health insurance, dental and vision coverage, 401K, CE opportunities, and more.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Active state dental license.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• BLS/CPR certification current.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret X-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain high standards of care and ethics.
• Keep abreast of new developments and continuing education.

Education

DMD or DDS degree

Current state license to practice dentistry

Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination

Proof of malpractice insurance

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
