Job summary

42North Dental is seeking a General Dentist to join our practice in Torrington, CT. You will manage the full patient experience from initial exam to treatment, including in-office periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

The role offers 2-5 days per week, 8AM-5PM, with compensation up to 36%. Employment may be full-time or part-time, with comprehensive benefits for eligible staff and extensive CE opportunities.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and review treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Maintain and update patients' dental records.
• Interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
