Job summary

42North Dental is seeking a General Dentist to join our team in Torrington, CT. The role covers the full patient journey from exam to delivery of care, including in-office specialties such as periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

The position offers either part-time or full-time hours (8AM-5PM, 2-5 days per week) with compensation up to 36% of collections. Expect a diverse benefits package including health, dental, vision, 401(k) and CE opportunities.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain high standards of care, ethics and professionalism.
• Keep up with new developments through CE and professional development.

Education
