Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a General Dentist to join our Torrington, CT practice. The Dentist will manage the full patient experience from exam to treatment, with in-office specialty services including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

2-5 days per week, 8 AM-5 PM, with compensation up to 36% of collections. Benefits include health insurance with optional HSA, 401K, CE opportunities, and growth in a collaborative dentistry team.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state dental license to practice in the US.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases and create treatment plans.
• Educate patients on options and maintain records.
• Review X-rays and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Provide restorative and preventive care, including surgeries as needed.

Education

DMD or DDS degree

Current state license to practice dentistry

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
