42 North Dental in Torrington, CT seeks a General Dentist for part-time or full-time work, 2–5 days/week, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. Compensation up to 36% of collections with full benefits and continuing education opportunities.

Responsibilities include promoting oral health, diagnosing diseases, creating treatment plans, performing procedures, and maintaining records. Requires a DDS/DMD, active CT license, Hepatitis B vaccination, malpractice insurance, and BLS/CPR certification.

Qualifications

• DDS/DMD degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Maintain patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone, and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
• Maintain high ethical standards and professionalism.
• Keep abreast of new developments and continuing education.

Education

DMD or DDS degree

Current state license to practice dentistry

Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination

Proof of malpractice insurance
