Job summary

42North Dental in Torrington, CT is seeking a General Dentist to join a practice built by dentists for dentists. The role offers up to 36% of collections and flexible part-time or full-time schedules from 8AM to 5PM, 2–5 days per week, with comprehensive benefits for full-time staff.

Responsibilities include promoting oral health, diagnosing diseases, creating treatment plans, and delivering a full range of in-office services including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Maintain patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
