Job summary

42 North Dental in Torrington, CT is seeking a General Dentist to join our team. Part-time or full-time schedules, 8AM-5PM, with in-office specialties including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics, and compensation up to 36% of collections.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA accredited program is required.
• Current state license to practice dentistry is required.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination is required.
• Proof of malpractice insurance is required.
• Current BLS or CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret X-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
• Maintain the highest standard of care and ethics.
• Keep abreast of new developments, technologies, best practices and standard of care through continuing education.

Education
