Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a General Dentist for Torrington, CT, with 2-5 days per week, 8 AM–5 PM. The role offers compensation up to 36% of collections and a path for growth in a practice built by dentists for dentists.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program
• Current state dental license
• Vaccination for Hepatitis B documented
• Proof of malpractice insurance
• BLS or CPR certification current

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health
• Review treatment plan options with patients
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care and ethics
• Stay updated with new developments through continuing education

Education

DMD or DDS degree

Current state license to practice dentistry

Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination

Proof of malpractice insurance

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
