42 North Dental in Torrington, CT is seeking a General Dentist to join our patient-centered practice. The role offers flexible scheduling (part-time or full-time) with in-office specialty services and a clear path for growth. You’ll deliver comprehensive care in a supportive team environment.

From exam to treatment plan and patient education, you’ll manage the full clinical experience while earning up to 36% of collections and enjoying strong benefits and continuing education opportunities.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA accredited program required.
• Current state license to practice dentistry required.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient's oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on the teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care and ethics.
• Keep abreast of new developments and continuing education.

Education
